The iTailor brand, also known as TailorPro Limited, has been in the tailoring business for over 42 years, making them one of the most trusted tailoring professionals in the industry. They are a factory direct brand, which means there is no middle man and they have their own factory. Because of this, you can expect that the prices are cheaper than usual, and more affordable than most MTM companies. Their factory is located in Chiang Mai, North Thailand and they belong to the parent company Gino, who has been known to provide quality uniforms for the hotel industry.
Because of the vast experience they have in custom-made dress shirts, they have been known to offer some of the highest quality MTM shirts today. Their product options include tailor made shirts, tailored suits, custom jeans and custom neck ties for the men’s department and only custom blouses for the women’s department. Prices are very affordable and are as follows: around $26 – $40 tailored shirts, $14.99 for ties, around $150 – $185 for tailored suits, $50 for custom jeans and around $25 – $40 for women’s custom blouses.
In terms of design options, there is also a lot to choose from. Of course, there are classic choices like signature whites and solid colors. If you want to be a bit bolder, there are also pattern choices from florals to plaids and stripes. Fabric options range from the standard wool and cotton to organic fabrics. Currently, there are over 200 fabrics available in the website.
They have a great and very effective customizing tool – the 3D Designer. This allows for users to easily design their shirts according to their exact preferences. Aside from the fabric, you can also easily customize the parts of the suit or the shirt. Style, contrasting and measurements are part of the 4-step customizing process. The visual representation of the product is 3D so you will be seeing a pretty close interpretation of your order. But because there are so many details included in the 3D Designer, it takes a few seconds to load completely.
However, it is nice that the company offers free monogramming and free contrast trimming because other MTM companies will charge you extra for these services. You also have the option of ordering the product in standard sizes like Small, Medium and Large. If you want it to be tailor-made to your specifics, you can do so by providing your own measurements. Production and shipping will take approximately 5 – 6 weeks. Returns are not accepted unless there is a production error.
Overall, iTailor receives major points for their good service and high-quality products. The 3D Design Tool can be used by anyone and countless of design options are provided in the site too. The prices of the products are also more affordable than most of their competitors.
Thanks a lot for sharing this with all people you really recognize what you’re talking about! Bookmarked. =)
Being 6’8″ and thin itailor is awesome, but their marketing is dodgy. There advertisement says 23.95 for 450 different fabrics but then they only give 15% off. They say $59 for jeans, but then when they check you out they charge $89, in the latter case they acknowledged the error it is literally in the same checkout page, but not in the former. Challenged by English much? Also, their shipping is DHL global, expensive not to mention the exchange rates.
Also the pants cut varies substantially with the same measurements. I took the pants measurements from another custom tailored suit, but they sent a rise so small the zipper was only about an inch long.
Also, they never fully fill out the design. I try to make details on my shirts that match my ties, but they always tone down the contrasts. For example I have a cream, white, and navy tie, but when I add cream and white buttons and monograms to a navy shirt, they just use charcoal thread… I want the monogram to stand out, not blend in. Oh Well, this seems to be standard for online shirt design MyTailor does this also.
